Denisa Rafalowski was born in Prague and currently resides in Los Angeles. Her approach to design is based on simple lines, with emphasis on the beauty of form and function. "One of the reasons I went into jewelry design was because I was tired of buying jewelry that didn't work with different styles or allowed for variations in necklines," says Denisa.
Utilizing both gold and silver in the same piece, adjustable options, and reversibility are key components to Denisa's designs. Semiprecious gemstones are used throughout the designs to add both beauty and positive power attributes to the pieces, such as love and harmony. Above all, Denisa Rafalowski's jewelry is meant to be fun and playful. The current motifs of charms mixed into the basic line pieces add a touch of whimsy and irreverence. "One shouldn't take everything so seriously and enjoy the moment. After all, that is all there is," feels Denisa. |
